The main objective of the Advanced Masterclass Storytelling Workshop is to make the participants more enthusiastic and passionate about storytelling and subsequently story writing. The workshop is a serious attempt to raise the bar of the quality of creative writing by introducing a certain technique to storytelling.This workshop could also be seen as a life-skill workshop.
All good stories begin with a character and a goal. A scriptwriter’s job is to make that goal as difficult to achieve as possible, revealing who the character is along the way in dramatic action and dialogue.
Through study of the successes and flaws of produced script writing, the participants will do many exercises to building their foundation in the mechanics of good storytelling, dialogue, and character creation, they will gain a deep understanding of not only what makes a good story, but also how those principles apply to the Script writing.The workshop makes the participants realize that they have the magical powers to touch and move their audience.
Taught with consistency, dedication and focus as an advanced skills workshop, this is a must for those dedicated to understand the craft of storytelling. We demand a high level of commitment, focus and energy from the participants and take pride in keeping focused on individual attention and development through intensive training.
Founder, Kid and Parent Foundation, Aparna is a storyteller and storywriter, and a passionate advocate of Storytelling in education. She works with schools and the welfare sector where she runs developmental programs using Storytelling. Her deep involvement with stories has led her to also don the mantel of a performance storyteller, as she enjoys bringing the magic of stories to life for children and adults alike!
From M.A. in Economics to a Lecturer in a College to Creating cute characters and lovable short stories for children, Ms. Jayanthi Narasimhan with over 10 years of experience heads the Creative team, bringing on board her years of experience and knowledge in Animation Production from Script to Screen.
She created and penned a book in verses on Christmas titled “Little Santa” whish is currently being produced as animated feature film with a Canadian co-producer. She was the Creator of Tingo Tiger and Lido the Little Lion Series and the short film on Chistmas – A GIFT DIVINE which were screened at various International Film Festivals both in India and overseas.
